Sonic Orbit
Sonic Orbit is possibly the most fun I've ever had working on a song. I basically got asked to come in and play drums for it, not having heard any of it, and I immediately loved it. I'm not 100% on the origin story - either it was written specifically for the Biogenic OOZE Exclusive or it was just something that Oliver and Louis happened to be working on anyway - but it very quickly ended up being destined for the Exclusive. Regardless, I came in, recorded drums, then while I was editing and mixing the drums Oliver and Louis went away and recorded new, better guitar takes, along with bass.
I'm not fully sure why I like it so much. The tempo makes it sound and feel impressive to play reasonably technical stuff, when in reality it's not that hard. It's in 12/8, which is a very fun time signature for metal (as demonstrated by Mars For The Rich, one of the greatest songs ever recorded). It also has two very excessive guitar solos, which is exactly what you need for this kinda music.
At some point we want to add lyrics and probably a synthesiser part or two.
